Reverend Rebecca DePoe

A Pittsburgh native, Pastor Rebecca has been serving Mt. Nebo United Presbyterian Church as their pastor since September 2016. She also pastors Glenshaw Valley Presbyterian Church. Her preparation for ministry began at the University of Pittsburgh where she received her bachelor’s degree in literature and history.


After graduation she worked for University Christian Outreach as the Women’s Outreach Coordinator. She also served as an AmeriCorps member, where she worked with at-risk youth in Homestead, PA.

Our Pastor



In 2013, God called her to Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, where she received her Masters of Divinity in 2016. While at PTS, she received the Alice Myers Singler Memorial Prize in History and Theology (awarded to the student with the highest standing in church history and theology) and the Robert A. Lee Church History Prize (awarded to the student with the highest standing in church history).


In her spare time, Pastor Rebecca enjoys CrossFit, cooking, and crocheting.
